THE BOOK HAS A FACE!

Wed Dec 9, 2009, 2:27 AM
Yeah, so... I got a face book. ONLY using it for Mafia wars, but if you want to be in my mafia, Link to follow.

If you don't want to wait on the link, just look up "Robert Kings" and look for the Mobster Patapon.

Random Stuff and Marmalade

Fri Jul 31, 2009, 3:05 PM
Just an update on my status. Things are going okay, except commissions. I got the two and then they dried right up. It's sad really, because I made a PayPal account for it, so there wouldn't be complications in payment anymore and I've not gotten a chance to use it. So sad.

Have I ever been Meme'd? I can't recall this every happening. How odd....

Anyway, I've not done much drawing recently, I still have painting I need to do, but the table I use isn't clear... I got my graphics card back up and going, which makes me happy. I tend to aim my fan into my computer case now, though. Not having a case fan sucks >_<

Anyway. Just a quick update. I'm going to drop the price of line art commissions to 5$. Past that it's going to to pretty much depend on the complexity of the picture. Talk to me in note and I'll see what I can work out.

...Marmalade.

Look! It's a Monkey!

Sat Jun 27, 2009, 12:16 PM
Warning: The following journal has nothing to do with looking for something or monkeys.

Have I ever mentioned that I'm bad with journals? I tend to let life take it's course and reflect on what's happened in my mind. Right now though, my brain is kinda fried.

Still unemployed, I'm getting too accustomed to just sitting around the house all day. With the job market as shot as it is, my attempts to find employment have been futile at best. So I sit here, in the down stair's heat of somewhere around 80 degrees, knowing that I can't sleep because it's about 100 degrees or more (F) in my room.

My artistic muse, like much of me, is pretty burnt out from waking up, drenched in sweat, even though I have a box fan on high sitting not even 2 feet from my head.

Yet I push on. Due to a close friend I have Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, which makes me very happy. I would highly recommend PSP owners to pick it up and give it a try. ...<_< And if you don't like it, give it to me, I have a friend who -really- wants it, but is unemployed like me.

Commission are still up, but I get the impression asking for commissions here is kind pointless, as my work life taking a chunk out of my art time has lost me many of the fans of my work I had gathered over the years. These things come and go though, so I press on.

Also of note, I am taking requests for non-commission work. I figure it'll help me fix my muse problems. It wont help me keep an internet connection, but who knows, something might come out of it.

Taking Commissions (Updated)

Thu Mar 19, 2009, 12:53 AM
Times are tight, I'm unemployed and pretty much rolling in free time, so it's time I started making some cash... or rather, it's time I started to try doing something that can make me cash without sitting around, twiddling my thumbs, and hoping I get a call back. So yes. It's commission time.

5$ a sketch (B&W/Line art)
5$ an additional person (B&W/Line art)
5$ for a back ground (B&W/Line art)
15$ to color the picture (Includes generic splash back ground)
20$ for a detailed colored back ground (New!)

This is kind of a trial system here, I'll probably adjust the prices after a while (Because personally I think that's a little high... but that's because I like giving my art away for free). The prices are likely to go up if I get bombed with requests, which I don't expect to happen, but if you get your request in before I raise the price, your picture will still be in the old price range.

I look forward to serving you, drop me a note for picture goodness.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Payments will be done Via Pay Pal, I'll discuss the finer points of this after I've at least started on your picture (that way I can confirm that I'll be able to do the request).

If you're interested in a commission, please send me a note. If you have feed back on the whole "commissions" thing, pricing or otherwise, please feel free to leave a comment on this journal.
